Alliance Manchester Business School is pleased to offer Alliance MBS UK and International Undergraduate Scholarships for Social Responsibility in 2016 worth £2,000 per annum across three years of study. Applicants from UK as well as international students (non-EU) applicants are eligible to apply for this scholarship. The university’s aim is to examine the impact of the division between further and higher education on strategies to widen participation in undergraduate education. This is a  full-service business school that provides industry-focused education to undergraduates, postgraduates and executives. Their influential research impacts business locally, nationally and internationally and covers a broad range of areas across our four divisions: accounting and finance, innovation management and policy, management sciences and marketing and people, management and organisations. Selected EU applicants and all international applicants are expected to hold a suitable English language qualification. Accepted qualifications include: IELTS – International English Language Testing System.

Degree Level: Scholarships are available to pursue undergraduate degree programme.

Subject Offered: Scholarships are awarded for Social Responsibility.

Eligibility: Applicants must meet all of the following criteria to be eligible to apply for this scholarship:-

• UK undergraduates achieving AAA at A-level (or equivalent) who are able to demonstrate a significant contribution and commitment to social responsibility.
• International students (non-EU) achieving AAA at A-level (or equivalent) who are able to demonstrate a significant contribution and commitment to social responsibility.

Eligible Nationalities: UK as well as international students (non-EU) applicants are eligible to apply for this scholarship.

College Admission Requirement

Entrance Requirements: Students achieving AAA at A-level (or equivalent) who are able to demonstrate a significant contribution and commitment to social responsibility can apply                               .

English language Requirements: Requirements for EU and international students: Selected EU applicants and all international applicants are expected to hold a suitable English language qualification. Accepted qualifications include: IELTS – International English Language Testing System
-6.5 overall, with no less than 6 in any component
-CAE – Cambridge Certificate in Advanced English
-Grade C or above. Please provide their unique and special numbers to be verified online
-GCSE/O Level English Language (as a first language)
-Grade B or above: Applicants holding other qualifications should contact the undergraduate admissions team for guidance on the suitability of these qualifications
-IGCSE English (as a first language)
Grade B or above. International applicants who have studied IGCSE English will need to have completed the fully assessed oral examination to satisfy our English language requirements.

Supporting Material: In addition to the application for the scholarship, the applicant must submit a written application (maximum one A4 page). 

Scholarship Benefit: University hopes to offer five undergraduate scholarships to UK students and one scholarship to international students in 2016 worth £2,000 per annum across three years of study.

Deadline: The deadline for applications is 31st August 2016 however applicants are free to apply as soon as they have received their final results.
